from Australia is wrapped with

no further. At Pendant Creations every pendant in our collection is a truly unique piece of
jewelry. Our pendants are handmade using stones* we have personally cut, shaped and
polished in our own workshop. The process begins with the purchase of stones in rough form
from all over the world. For instance, we have extraordinary Ocean Jasper found in the
waters of Madagascar, beautiful Lapis Lazuli from Afghanistan, exquisite Variscite from
Western Australia and the most striking Pietersite from China. The stones are first cut into
slabs using a 10” blade on a lapidary saw. The most desirable area on the slabs are then
outlined and cut into shapes using a 6” blade on a second lapidary saw. Each piece is then
shaped and polished on a special cabbing machine which has six separate diamond wheels
beginning with a 400 grit wheel and working up to a 15,000 grit polishing wheel. After the
cabochons are finished they are placed into a vibratory tumbler for several days to give
them a final polish. At this point we go over each stone, carefully selecting the most unique
ones for use in our pendants. Only about 1 in 3 cabochons will make it to this final stage.
These cabs are then wrapped with 14k gold-filled and silver wire. The design is chosen
according to shape, size and orientation which will best demonstrate the unique qualities of
the stone. When complete, the pendant will then be run through a second tumbler for final
polishing. This process ensures an end product we guarantee you will be thrilled with.

blue, gold and just a hint of red tiger eye type
fibers in quartz. Its colors appear in swirls and
bands giving it an unusual look. The stone
appears to be in a predominantly dark midnight
blue hue but upon closer inspection one can
see baby blue color with specs of gold
throughout. The gold color varies from light to
very deep with a few specs having a reddish
